Exciting week at Pimpashirt.com – we had our first visitors and guest appearance. All the way from Syracuse, NY came Nelson from Suitable for the People. Nelson was a great sport and things got started when I video taped them coming in the front door – from there he went straight into the Pimpashirt lab to get a hands on demonstration of the various pieces of equipment and software that we use in our videos. After his demo he agreed to hop on our video for a special guest appearance on our intro. You can watch it by viewing the video at the end of this post.
But first we must talk about this week’s production. This one is a new favorite. Have you ever seen the photo of Bo Jackson holding a baseball bat over his shoulders while wearing football shoulder pads? If your my age (26) or older and a sports fan you might remember Bo – if not, just google him under an image search and you’ll find the photo. The two sport star excelled in major league baseball as well as NFL football. This shirt is a tribute to him, and a play on that famous baseball card.
For this creation we brought out one of my favorite brands of t-shirts – the Luxe-T in the color gray. Check out Luxe-T and order blanks from them by clicking here.
As far as the decoration goes, we use some basic techniques, basic vinyls, apply over the seam and really let the concept do the talking.
Enjoy the photos and the video below. And subscribe to Pimpashirt by clicking here to enter the giveaway for this shirt and to receive weekly updates.

Love this – I tune in each Monday to see what inspiration I can get — great stuff – keep it up!
Thanks for tuning in…we look forward to shooting these as well! Your support is greatly appreciated
3 questions,
1 Do you ever share your design files.
2 What heat press material did you use for this one
3 Who makes your weeding tool?
You guy ROCK.
We are in the process of adding the design files to the site…should be up with next weeks post.
SPECTRA® Eco-Film was used on this design
Weeding tools are available at Imprintables Warehouse.
We are glad you enjoy the videos. Keep watching and be sure to tell your friends!
you guys do amazing work. thanks
awesome thanks for showing this!
can I find the shoulder pads art somewhere.
we’ve just added a feature to the right sidebar where we will be sharing artwork. We will post each weeks art for download – art will only be available for 1 week which encourages our audience to keep with us:)
HeyGuys,
I just discovered your web site and it is “mas Mauleg” that means very cool. I know you only post the artwork for one week but I really would like to get the shoulder pads file from the 11th program.
Any way at all? If so, how much?
Thanks! You know I’ll be here every week from now on.
What?! You can just press over the seams like that?! Cool! I want to do kids shirts but was always worried about whether I would get firm enough pressure with the collar and sleeves inside the press but after watching that I guess it has no effect? What about infant onesies? Would you switch to a smaller platen or just hang the snaps only out of the press?
Was the puff headphones art ever posted or do you have plans to post it?
Great job I will be visiting often!
Hiya! I just stumbled onto this page and absolutely found this shirt awesome (being a Bo fan). I wanted to ask you if you also sell shirts?
(I tried downloading the file, and using it in some t-shirt websites, but the image appears very small, its not possible to get it up to the collar, and is missing the Bo Know text – keep in mind I’m clueless in t-shirt production).
Cheers!
