Pimpashirt congrats are in order for Karissa from CA on winning our pimped out ninja customized t-shirt. One extra congrats goes out to the Pittsburgh Penguins on being crowned 2009 Stanley Cup Champs!!
So let’s get it started this week as we pimp out a girls zip up hoodie from Kavio. For pimpashirt #10 we decided to jazz it up with two specialty heat transfer vinyls…glitter and glow. Our “So Dangerous” design also incorporates our new adhesive residue technique. What we did was use our red glitter heat transfer vinyl to cut out a pirate design and then smashed it on with our trusty heat press. And a pirate design would not be complete without an eye patch. So for our eye patch, we decided to use our glow heat transfer vinyl…yes that’s glow in the dark. Hold it up to the light to charge it up, turn out the lights and watch it glow. We promise it glows…our camera wouldn’t pick it up that well for the video as you will soon see. Now, to finish off the design, we once again used our cold peel heat transfer vinyl and peeled it hot to achieve our adhesive residue finish. Check it out below…

As always, pimpashirt #10 was caught on video for your viewing pleasure.
One more thing before we leave you this week…we had our first pimpashirt member submission. Tony decided to show us his pimpashirt skills with this…

Tony's Totally Awesome Tee
…nice try Tony…but hey, you did make it on the site. Thanks for submitting!!
To everyone else out there, let’s get some more submissions and you too can make it on our site. We may even use it in a video. We appreciate any and all feedback and user participation, so be sure to subscribe to us. Thank you and good night. C u next week!
Well done guys I love the adhesive residue look..very cool!
That’s pretty sweet!
Thanks for the comment Heather!
Great work once again.
Can we get the residue left with any other vinyls?
Regards Duke
I have never tried anything other than our Cut II. I would imagine another cold peel vinyl would work.
I like the look. I’m glad to see you guys didn’t forget Ladies. One question. The adhesive look, how many times can you use that one cut out?
hmmm…sounds like a pimpashirt experiment to me. I have only used it once
We can’t afford to forget the ladies:) We’re both married or soon to be!
great job you guys!.
one question tho, can i summit a picture or video showing how to make cool t-shirts with heat transfer paper, i think it would be cool,
thanks again,
mike.
Absolutely – we would love to feature any affordable printing technology for t-shirts. Submit away!
Hey, what is that sheet of paper called that you guys used to cover the printing?
Great Job on the design guys!
- Bizzle.
Teflon Sheet – thanks for the comment!
I really dig this design, especially the way it all comes together. I love my trips to pimpashirt.com to check out the new designs and I’ve watched a lot of the previous videos multiple times.
Where can I obtain a copy of that skull? If it came from one of the vector sites I’d love to know which so I can purchase it!
Thanks again for all the hard work guys!
haha you’re a meanie. you know my shirt is awesome. =)
